I'm an artist that specializes in creating many different pieces and forms of art. I love the challenge of getting every detail into the piece. I started out with graphite pencils and have slowly become comfortable with other media such as colored pencils, acrylics, ballpoint pens, airbrush, and even digital.
I started my own YouTube channel, "Lane Sanders Art", back in 2016. I show the process I go through in short, compressed videos. For this channel, I create my own animations, compose my own music, and edit my videos.
I like to stay busy and have other interests as well. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering through the University of Colorado. I like the challenge of designing and building things. I have also done sizable projects like painting murals, designing scale models for injection molding, and constructing a large, operating fiber optic fireworks display.
